Performance evaluations and feedback

People management

When you were promoted into your first job where you managed other people, did anyone train you to do that? Probably not. In the US, we usually reward people for being strong individual contributors by promoting them into roles where they manage other people. And while they might know how to do those people’s jobs really well, we don’t give them much if any training on the entirely new skillset we’re asking them now exercise: people management.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) assessments and strategy implementation

Are you committed to DEI but not sure what to be doing about it? Natania has been a DEI consultant since 2018 and has helped countless organizations develop and implement strong DEI strategies.

But we encourage you to read carefully here! “DEI” is a term used to describe a wide variety of work, and not all of it has a positive impact.

Here’s what it means for us: We work with organizations that have strong intentions around how demographically diverse they want their staff to be, how equitably they want to treat those staff, and how included you’d like everyone to feel at work.

They have questions or concerns about how well they’re delivering on these intentions, so we help them make the changes needed to bridge the gap between these values as intended vs as experienced day-to-day by their staff. If this is what you’re looking for, we’re not particularly concerned with whether you call this “DEI” work or something else that resonates better for your team. We’re just glad to help.

We offer both targeted, one-time interventions (think writing a new policy, facilitating a customized workshop, etc) and long-term strategy (think staring with an assessment of your current state, offering recommendations for next steps, and then working with you through implementation) to help you with your DEI work.
